Ramlal Paswan, a chowkidar at the Ghazipur police station, deceived a married woman under the pretext of performing exorcism and married her. Already married, Ramlal snatched her jewelry, threw her out of the house, and even beat her.

Ramlal Paswan, a police officer posted at the police station, deceived a woman under the pretext of performing exorcism and married her. He was already married and had committed similar acts with several other women. Based on the victim's complaint, the police have filed a case against him and launched an investigation.

The case occurred at the Ghazipur police station. Ramlal Paswan, a watchman, also practiced exorcism. Last year, he lured a young woman from Bhabua, Bihar, to his home, and married her by placing a garland around her neck. After some time, the victim discovered that Ramlal was already married and had also deceived and exploited several other women. When she protested, he began beating her and forcibly had sexual relations with her.

In August, Ramlal snatched the victim's jewelry and mangalsutra and threw her out of the house. The victim filed a complaint through the Chief Minister's portal, after which the police brokered a compromise between the two. However, Ramlal's behavior remained unchanged. On October 6, he again assaulted and drove the woman out of the house. Following this, the victim filed a complaint with the Superintendent of Police. Police have registered a case under sections 85, 115(2), and 309(4) of the IPC and have begun an investigation.
